The country is crying, bleeding, and dying with this dire situation from the hit of second wave of Covid 19. This pandemic has brought one sad news after another and we are honestly in dreadful condition. My heart goes out to doctors, nurses and all the health front-liners who are working 24 hrs shift so that we can beat this pandemic. Hashtags like #NepalNeedsOxygen are trending in social media and I am aware of the fact that hashtags trending does the very little and bare minimum in fighting this situation but right now we need more focus on the lacking infrastructure of the country and as much attention as we can grasp.

Also, a massive thank you to all big media handles, newspapers, and online portals that are not making big headlines about the political instability of the current situation. Honestly, that is the last thing we, democratic citizens want to hear while our friends, family, relatives, neighbor are struggling to breathe. We want accountability and all eyes on how to overcome this dreadful situation we are in.

Us-innovators are staying home, working from home, and celebrating the little joy festivals can give, celebrating the little joy togetherness with family can give. Starting this week's blog with Mother’s day celebration.

Mothers day

“ Behind all your stories is always your mother’s story because hers is where yours begin.” — Mitch Albom

Mothers day is the celebration of motherhood, kindness honoring mums of family and individual. Nirvana wished us on mothers day with the beautiful note:

“Happy mother’s day to all the mommas. Including Doggo mommas, Cat mommas and plant mommas too.”

Also, a Mothers day special tweet from our innovators:

Reading Club

“My most recent read is The Color Purple. It’s a classic written by Alice Walker. The book is a set of letters written to God by the protagonist- Celie: an African American woman based in rural Georgia. Her father sexually abuses her at a tender age, later on she is married off to a widower who married her so that she can raise his children (from his first marriage). The book revolves around Celie’s pain and hope of reuniting with her separated sister Nettie. Meanwhile, she is in search of her own spirit and empowerment.” — Bibhs

COVID Vaccination resuming

The second dosage of Vero cell is coming soon and here is the final list of vaccinating booths.

For those of you who are yet to take their first dosage of vaccine, you can register from here: http://vaccine.mohp.gov.np/
Registering here doesn't ensure your vaccination but we are seriously shooting every chance to get the vaccine. And honestly, the vaccine is the only hope at this point. If you have this privilege to access the vaccine you should shoot it.

That’s a wrap for this week. We’ll see you next week. Please stay indoors and stay safe everyone!
